What are the responsibilities and job description for the FSQA Coodinator position at Greengate Fresh, LLLP?
Under general supervision, this position will administer and maintain company-specific Food Safety programs and record keeping while ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local food safety regulations. Will work closely with FSQA Manager, Supervisors, Employees, and 3rd party FSQA entities. The Food Safety Coordinator reports to the FSQA Director.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assists with administrative recordkeeping duties for both GGF facilities including customer complaint forms, compliance records, and any additional necessary reports.
· Schedules and/or assists with FSQA-related projects when necessary.
· Conducts shelf-life studies (and other product evaluations) and documents all findings. Collects pictures, files, and follows up with Managers/supervisors to ensure protocols are followed to completion.
· Review and responds to customer complaints and incident reports to ensure completeness and that appropriate action is taken to prevent recurrence. Ensures all management at GGF are notified should escalation of customer complaints warrant additional action.
· Routinely analyzes data and performs thorough investigations for all customer complaint incidents and communicates to the appropriate personnel any trends related to; food safety risks, environmental hazards, and corrective actions, as they relate to Field Food Safety, FSQA, or Sanitation
· Assist management during second & third-party FS audits.
· Participate in internal FS programs meetings related to Field Food Safety, or Facility FS/Sanitation.
· Responsible for daily, seasonal, and any additional relevant record updates.
· Assist in monthly site walk-through records, associated with internal Food Safety and GMP audits.
· Assists in audit documentation and prep.
· Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
· Ability to present training material and knowledge
· Must have a valid State Driver License
· Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented
· Experienced and skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
· Understanding of industry Food Safety standards and government regulations - preferred
· Bilingual preferred
Education/Certification/License/Formal Training:
· Food manufacturing or related science field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is a plus.
