What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lobster Extraction Team Member - Piece work position at Greenhead Lobster, LLC?
Work Schedule: Full-time employees can expect to work 40 hours per week during the Company's high season. Overtime may be required during the peak processing season.
Essential Function: Ensure quick and efficient extraction of lobster meat while adhering to all HACCP, SOP, and GMP guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Extract lobster meat from claws and knuckles.
- Ensure all product is extracted as cleanly as possible, without cartilage or shells.
- Report any safety or maintenance issues to the supervisor as needed.
- Consistently follow food safety, SOP, and GMP guidelines at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
- Must work well in a team environment or independently.
- Ability to stand for long periods and maintain consistent movement
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet environments
- Forklift experience is required
- Communication skills are necessary
