As an Independent Contractor, you'll play a crucial role in facilitating global exchanges by pairing foreign students with volunteer American host families, provide support, and organize enriching cultural activities.
While much of your work will be done remotely, you will also engage in face-to-face interactions within the local community when necessary. This dynamic position blends remote support with personal connections to ensure a successful exchange experience for everyone involved.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 26 years old.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Live within 100 miles of the listed location in the USA. Authorized to work in the USA.
- Have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
Responsibilities:
- Recruit local families interested in volunteering to host foreign exchange students, fostering cultural understanding and friendship.
- Engage proactively in marketing through social media and other platforms.
- Guide families through the approval process with care and expertise. Conducting home site visits to ensure appropriate home environment.
- Collaborate closely with local schools to facilitate smooth student placements.
- Conduct engaging orientations for host families and student orientations.
- Provide attentive monitoring and support to host families and students throughout the school year.
- Coordinate volunteer activities to enrich the exchange experience.
