Primary function of a Fabricator/Punch Press Operator is to process sheets of raw material through the machines to produce high quality flat blank components and prepare loads of components for downstream operations.

- 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm (Monday through Friday)
- 2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Monday through Friday)
- 3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am (Sunday through Thursday)
Primary function of a Fabricator/Punch Press Operator is to process sheets of raw material through the machines to produce high quality flat blank components and prepare loads of components for downstream operations.
- Ability to operate the Punch Press.
- Excellent math skills.
- Ability to distinguish the various thicknesses and types of material.
- Ability to use Caliper and thickness gauges.
- Ability to use Foam Cavity thickness go/no-go gauges.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
- Ability to operate a forklift and material handling equipment.
- Ability to complete paperwork required by operations.
- Ability to read measuring devices.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Be adaptable enough to learn the necessary functions in a timely manner and perform them within accepted output and quality levels.
- Must follow standard safe practices that apply to all activities.
- Cross train in other classifications.
- Lift up to 50 pounds frequently during an 8-hour work shift.
- Bend, stoop, push, and pull in a busy work environment for up to an 8-hour work shift.
- Climb a ladder and/ or scaffolding frequently during an 8-hour work shift.
- Stand for up to an 8-hour work shift.
- Grip, manipulate, and hold small parts with fingers.
- Hear different types of sound/decibels/tone such as alarms, sirens, and/or mechanical equipment.
- See without visual impairments (depth, peripheral, color and acuity 20/40 or better).
