General Summary
Grade 3 jobs include positions such as: assembler, advanced machine operator, fabricator, or welder. The primary responsibility for these roles is to assemble products based on blueprints, operating forming machines in the production process, pressing, assembling control panels, brazing, and welding products to move on to assembly.

General Summary
Grade 3 jobs include positions such as: assembler, advanced machine operator, fabricator, or welder. The primary responsibility for these roles is to assemble products based on blueprints, operating forming machines in the production process, pressing, assembling control panels, brazing, and welding products to move on to assembly.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Confirm to all safety guidelines while performing duties and operating equipment
- Setup, calibration, and operation of machinery
- Work from systems, blueprints, and verbal/written communication
- Inspect machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances
- Assemble control panels
- Braze refrigerant systems based on SOP’s, quality standards, and trainings
- Weld together metal components working off of blueprints
- Maintain welding specifications based on SOP’s, quality standards, and trainings
- Maintain accurate daily production records
- Fabricate sheet metal materials using punches, presses, lasers, etc.
- Use a range of hand and power tools
- Maintain daily housekeeping
- Other duties, as assigned
- Between 1-4 years prior manufacturing experience, preferred
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to read a tape measure and handle basic tools
- Experience reading blueprints
- Stable work history
- Pass a welding test onsite
- Must lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Standing for a minimum of 8 hours per day
- Continuous lifting, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc.
