Your Opportunity :
Greenheck Group is looking for a highly motivated student to work as a Material Specialist Intern from May - August 2025. In this role, you'll assist in identifying and executing inventory reduction projects, reducing inventory cost, improving flow of product through a manufacturing facility while supporting day to day inventory management activities. This role will allow you to impact our business while learning about our company and culture.
What You'll be Doing :
- Serves as a technical resource for Greenheck's Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Sourcing Departments.
- Coordinate stocking requirements with material specialist at other facilities as well as purchasing team.
- Monitor Excess project / sales stock.
- Work to assure integration between Materials specialist and Buyers on new products and changes in purchased components.
- Evaluate and make recommendations on Safety Stock and Rounding Values.
- Lead and implement inventory reduction projects.
- Analyzes the E&O for inventory trends and implement corrective action steps.
- Prepare and deliver shop floor paperwork related to the warehouse management and inventory management function. Determine what paperwork should be produced and when.
- Assist in monitoring activities to ensure execution processes are in alignment with the system in regards to inventory accuracy.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay. The starting base pay range for this position is $18 / hour - $23 / hour and may vary based type of position and school seniority.
