As we continue to grow, we are looking for 1-2 experienced and motivated Commercial Insulation Estimators to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Commercial Insulation Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects by accurately estimating insulation material quantities, labor costs, and overall project expenses for commercial and residential construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, general contractors, and clients to ensure estimates align with project specifications, budgets, and state and local code requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project blueprints, specifications, and site conditions to develop detailed cost estimates.
- Accurately calculate labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Communicate professionally and accurately with clients and general contractors, through email, text, face to face and or phone calls.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs.
- Provide ongoing support throughout the project to ensure adherence bids and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and field staff to resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
- Maintain records of estimates, bids, and project-related correspondence.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new materials.
Qualifications:
* No experience is required, but a strong candidate might have:
- Previous experience with estimating, commercial insulation, or another commercial construction industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of insulation materials, techniques, and industry standards.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent professional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Post High School education/ experience. (Work Experience, Degree, Trade School, Apprenticeship, Professional Licensing.)
