We are looking for a motivated Receptionist/Office Assistant to assist in keeping our sales office running smoothly. Duties of the job include answering/ redirecting calls, filing/scanning documents, entering orders, small shipping, keeping office supplies stocked and office tidy. The ideal candidate should have computer and phone system experience. MUST have Microsoft programs experience. Ultimately, a successful Receptionist/ Office Assistant will be in the office each and every day and play a huge roll in making everything move smoothly for the entire company. MUST be able to work M-F 8:30-5.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones
- Scanning and filing paperwork
- Shipment log
- Sending and forwarding emails
- Posting advertisements
- Entering Sales Orders
- Ordering office Supplies
- Mild clean up around the office
Requirements:
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word, in particular)
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel
- Experience in using multi-line phone systems
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Previous experience in an office setting or receptionist role
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
