Summary:
Responsible for leading the Pack Out Department in the efficient and accurate processing of Blount bag/retail products. Requirements Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for guiding, training, and leading their team to ensure the accurate and efficient packaging of Division 9 Bulk/Retail products.
• Responsible for the continuous and efficient operation of all departmental processing equipment.
• Verify HACCP and internal GMP guidelines are followed as well as the integrity of all products throughout the Pack Out process.
• Directs multiple staff to handle varying production flows of Bulk/Retail products within the Pack Out Department. • Ability to lead, be a teacher and create a positive work environment. Additional Responsibilities:
• The successful candidate will be detail oriented with above average organizational skills.
• They must be self-motivated, confident, energetic and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Knowledge of inventory, payroll, spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educations and experience.
