Greenleaf Cabinet Makers is seeking an experienced and responsible Cabinet Builder. We are committed to high quality workmanship and customer service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build, repair, and install cabinets and other millwork
- Experience with woodworking machinery and various hand tools
- Review drawings for specs on cabinet layouts as provided by supervisor
- Shape material to prescribed measurements using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and understand architectural and shop fabrication drawings
- Create cabinetry from a variety of materials, including wood and laminate
- Quality Control: Ensure cabinet quality by inspecting completed work
- Use safety equipment and follow all safety procedure
- Keep an organized workspace
- Perform routine shop and machine maintenance
- Communicate well with other cabinet makers, shop foreman, and project managers
Minimum Requirements:
- 2- 5 years experience in wood working, cabinetry and millwork construction
- Proficient with table saws and handheld routers.
- Experience with air tools and electric table saws
- Ability to take accurate measurements REQUIRED
- Knowledge in reading blueprints and shop drawings a plus
- Knowledge of laminating and/or finishing wood products a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain detail oriented and maintain quality standards
- Thrive in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary to deliver the projects on time
- Ability to lift at least 80 pounds
- Excellent time management skills
Compensation:
- This is a full-time position, paid hourly. Over-time can be expected on occasion. Candidates rate will be based on experience and skill level.
- Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and aptitude within the range of $25-$35/hr
