Greenleaf Friends Academy is a private Christian school serving students in preschool through twelfth grade. Founded in 1908, the Academy is dedicated to the task of providing distinctly Christian education for its students. The Christian worldview controls all areas of the school. Sponsored by the Friends Church, GFA is accredited by the State of Idaho through AdvancEd and is a member of Idaho High School Activities Association.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cross Country Coach to join our team at Greenleaf Friends Academy, a Classical Christian Academy committed to academic excellence and the development of character through athletics. This coach will be responsible for leading our cross country program, fostering a competitive spirit, and nurturing student-athletes in a Christian environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and lead cross country practices and competitions.
- Develop training schedules and ensure effective preparation for meets.
- Mentor student-athletes, emphasizing Christian values, discipline, and teamwork.
- Collaborate with school administration to ensure academic and athletic success.
- Promote the program and build community support.
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching experience, preferably in cross country or distance running.
- Strong knowledge of cross country training methods and race strategies.
- A passion for working with young athletes in a Christian setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
