About the Role
The Assistant Director of Nursing is primarily responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
- Assist in coordinating nursing and ancillary services to ensure continuity of care.
- Implement and maintain our clinical staffing model.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of our Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
- Prepare for facility surveys and accreditation programs.
Requirements
- A minimum of 0-1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- A current, valid state RN license.
- Current CPR certification.
