Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Wash dishes, utensils and kitchenware using dishwashers or by hand as needed and according to applicable food safety and other codes and regulations.
- Collect trash from warehouse and kitchen areas; empty garbage cans and wash and re-line with new bags. Take trash to the compactor.
- Break down boxes, take recycling to the appropriate dumpster.
- Clean dish machine and dish area. Wash and polish all stainless steel in the warehouse and kitchen.
- Assist with unloading of incoming deliveries, ensuring that all products are stored correctly and in the proper areas.
- Help answer radio calls to the warehouse during events and assist with product deliveries to various stands.
- Sweep and mop warehouse and kitchen floors.
- Store all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
- Perform other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, storing foods after events and cleaning coolers, freezers and storerooms.
- Continuously inspect floors in kitchen areas to assure they remain clean, dry and clear of debris.
- Assist in completing a weekly kitchen cleaning list.
- Clean and safely store all brooms, mops and other cleaning equipment in proper places.
- Use all chemical cleaning supplies in a safe and careful manner.
- Understand and consistently follow proper sanitation practices including those for personal hygiene.
- Perform other appropriate tasks assigned by the Culinary Supervisor.

- Able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment.
- Able to comply with safety and health code standards.
- Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks.
