The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves various tasks related to groundskeeping, lawn care, and the overall upkeep of landscaped areas. The Landscape Technician will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our properties while ensuring that all landscaping features are well-maintained and functional.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Irrigate and maintain plant health through proper watering techniques and schedules.
- Execute lawn care practices such as fertilization, aeration, and weed control.
- Build and install landscape features including flower beds, pathways, and decorative elements.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Maintain gardens by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while ensuring proper care throughout their growth cycle.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape design principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with lawn care techniques and snow removal practices is beneficial.
- Ability to operate power tools safely, including trimmers, blowers, and mowers.
