What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Piano Teacher position at Greenleaf Performing Arts Academy?
We are looking for new piano teachers for our summer session, June 9—August 8. You can choose 1 or 2 afternoons or evenings a week. We ask that you be ready to commit to your hours, as consistency is important for children. We are looking for fun, warm, encouraging teachers focused on PLAY! Please be well equipped to work with children especially ages 3-10. We're wanting to hire someone who can continue teaching through the school year and into the future.
We are located in Olathe.

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a Piano Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for teaching students of all ages and skill levels.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide engaging and comprehensive piano lessons to students using the Faber curriculum plus interactive games.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Prepare students for recitals.
**Skills:**
The ideal candidate should possess some of the following skills:
- Experience working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and understanding when working with students of varying abilities.
- Knowledge of music theory and piano techniques.
This could be a great job for college students or moms.

Hiring steps:

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
