Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders. Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensure: Active state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
- Experience: 1–3 years of clinical experience in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).
- Soft Skills:
- Empathy, cultural competence, and strong interpersonal communication.
- Analytical problem-solving and crisis management abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnose disorders using DSM-5 criteria.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for diverse populations.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with clinical standards.
