Requirements o f the Certified Nursing Assistant :
- Must have an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Kentucky.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, reposition, and transfer residents as required.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety procedures.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- This is a Full-time position.

Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant :
- Resident Personal Care:
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, dental/oral care,hair/nail care, dressing, and incontinence care.
- Aid residents with bowel and bladder functions, including escorting to the bathroom, providing bedpans, and performing catheter care.
- Check and record residents’ food and fluid intake, bowel movements, andurine output.
- Assist residents with meals and nourishments, ensuring proper dietary intake.
- Turn and reposition physically dependent residents every two hours to maintain comfort and relieve pressure as per facility protocol.
- Facility and Resident Activities:
- Aid residents in preparing for and participating in activities and programs within and outside the facility.
- Assist with transferring residents using manual or mechanical lifts as necessary.
- Change and transport soiled and contaminated linens while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communication and Documentation:
- Measure and record resident data on charts and participate in treatment team meetings.
- Report unusual incidents involving staff or residents to a licensed nurse.
- Document resident care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in emergency drills and respond promptly to facility emergencies.
- Utilize standard infection control procedures in all aspects of care.
