Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internist or Family Medicine Physician to join a respected Family Health Center in Brooklyn, NY. This is a full-time role offering a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to serve an underserved population in a supportive, community-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients’ symptoms and provide diagnoses for acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribe and manage medications, therapies, and specialized treatments
- Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, and health maintenance
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
- Administer immunizations and conduct preventive care visits
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records
- Refer patients to specialists when needed
- Participate in ongoing research and professional development
Requirements of the Internist/Family Medicine Physician:
- Must have an active NY State License
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Must have an active Medicaid and Medicaid number (NPI)
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
