Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an Internist, Family Medicine or Primary Care Physician to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in Bronx, New York.
Schedule of the Internist/Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician:
- This is a Full-time position
- Can accommodate some abbreviation of weekly hours
Responsibilities of the Internist/Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician:
- Manage and treat common health problems, such as infections, influenza and pneumonia, as well as serious, chronic, and complex illnesses, in adults and geriatrics.
- Prescribe or administer medication of all types, with the compliant use of ISTOP/PMP where needed, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Recognize management efforts and engage using IT and EMR capabilities to achieve proficiency in daily appointment schedule
