Qualifications:
- Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school; completion of OB/GYN residency and MIGS fellowship.
- Licensure: Active New York State Medical License; MIGS Board Certified or Eligible.
- Experience: Specialization in robotic surgery (e.g., da Vinci platform) required.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in laparoscopic/hysteroscopic procedures, endometriosis management, and fibroid resection.
- Soft Skills: Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, strong communication, empathy, and cultural competency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries (laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, robotic-assisted procedures).
- Diagnose and treat complex gynecologic conditions (endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain).
- Develop individualized care plans prioritizing patient safety and recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate surgical documentation and adhere to clinical guidelines.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to advancements in minimally invasive techniques.
