Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations. This role involves developing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with healthcare teams, and empowering patients to improve their speech, language, and cognitive-communication abilities in settings such as hospitals, schools, or private practices.

Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience: Clinical experience in diagnosing and treating communication/swallowing disorders (experience across age groups or settings preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in assessment tools, therapy techniques (e.g., AAC, dysphagia management), and EHR documentation.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, patience, empathy, and ability to educate patients/families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing abilities.
- Diagnose communication disorders (e.g., aphasia, stuttering) and dysphagia.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve articulation, language comprehension, and swallowing function.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Collaborate with physicians, educators, and occupational/physical therapists for holistic care.
