Position Scope and Overview:
We are seeking motivated individuals to apply for multiple roles within our Construction and Outside Services teams. Positions available include Fiber Optic Splicer, Construction and Maintenance Technician, Directional Drill Operator, and Underground Construction Laborer, Outside Fiber Technician. Key Responsibilities (Varies by Role):
- Operate and maintain directional drilling equipment for underground utility installation.
- Splice and maintain fiber optic cables for network expansion and repair.
- Assist with construction site preparation, including loading/unloading materials and equipment.
- Perform hydro-vac operations for potholing and site cleanup.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks.
- Read and interpret project blueprints and mapping software.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Travel to job sites as needed, including potential out-of-state work.
Qualifications (Varies by Role):
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
- Experience in underground construction, fiber splicing, or directional drilling is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL-A license preferred for some roles.
- Willingness to be on-call and work flexible schedules, including overtime.

Compensation:
- Our job titles may span more than one career level. The hourly pay range for these positions is between $18.00 - $39.00. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
