This is a Temporary position that could turn into a full benefited perm position.
Shift : 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm
Job description
Perform Operation & Maintenance activities within and in support of our Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Candidates should be qualified and experienced in basic wastewater plant operations and maintenance, underground line cleaning, and data collection & recordkeeping. The ideal candidate would also have solid mechanical skills, with the ability to work independently on pumps, plumbing, and motors including cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair.
Experience with PLC and SCADA systems, and previous HAZWOPER and / or Confined Space Entry training are a plus but are not required. Other responsibilities may also include construction equipment operation, exterior building and grounds maintenance, groundwater sampling, and various other day-to-day activities, as required. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of you and your team.
Requirements
- Minimum education required is a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Wastewater treatment : 2 years (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge : 2 years (Preferred)
Background Check, Drug Screen and Driver's Report Required.
