What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager – Industrial Construction position at Greenlight Professional Services?
Project Manager with industrial construction project management experience. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and experience to lead the in-house team in managing the execution of complex process-facility projects. Projects include new design and construction of manufacturing plants and facilities, and rehabilitation of existing plants / facilities and other high-hazard environments. The Project Manager will work closely with senior staff to ensure the timely delivery of a completed project. The candidate should have project management experience in the construction of industrial facilities. Ideal candidate will possess :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction of industrial facilities
- Strategic thinker, with demonstrated collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and gain the support of others
- Complete familiarity with all phases of construction from Pre-Construction Services through Commissioning
- Previous experience working with engineers in a design build environment is a plus
- Experience and background in chemical process or pharmaceutical projects highly desirable
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- Ability to work independently
- Minimal Travel Required
