Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in industrial maintenance, project management, and facility management practices. This role is crucial for ensuring that our facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all aspects of facility maintenance, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
- Oversee high voltage operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Coordinate projects related to facility upgrades, renovations, and repairs while managing timelines and budgets.
- Lead a team of maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and enhance facility functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field with a focus on industrial maintenance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a diverse team effectively.
- Proficiency in project management principles and practices.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with high voltage systems is preferred.
- Experience using CMMS for tracking maintenance activities is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
