The Role
As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will contribute to the development of scalable, high-quality applications. In this role, you'll work with both frontend and backend technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features. You will assume complete ownership of features in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, utilizing a modern technology stack to ensure both efficient and maintainable code.

NYC Hybrid
- Must be based in the New York Metro area and able to work in the office 3 days/ week as part of a hybrid schedule

Key Responsibilities & What You’ll Do
- Design and develop scalable web applications
- Own features from inception to implementation
- Champion architectural discussions and make key technical decisions regarding frontend systems and infrastructure
- Actively participate in product and design discussions, leveraging your expertise to provide solutions to complex challenges
- Define, apply, and champion coding standards to ensure our platform is maintainable, reliable, adaptable, secure, testable, and usable
- Demonstrate adaptability, and continuously seek to learn and solve new challenges independently
- 5 years of professional industry experience in full stack web development
- Expertise with modern frontend technologies such as: Typescript and React
- Proficient in backend API and SQL databases like PostgresSQL
- Experience with Next.js a plus
- Knowledge of web technologies such as WebAssembly and WebGL a plus
- Experience working in a startup environment, taking on diverse responsibilities and owning end-to-end development of features or projects (preferred)
