The Outside Sales Executive will be responsible for attaining new, profitable business growth within an assigned territory. This will involve identifying leads, proactively prospecting, and selling new and profitable business in the commercial, multi-family, and portable restroom lines of service.
The ability to develop effective, authentic relationships with customers and key-decision makers will be critical to success. The ideal candidate will have previous experience selling a service-based solution to business-to-business customers (B2B).

- Meet and exceed monthly targeted revenue goals.
- Identify viable leads and manage prospects to acquire new, profitable business.
- Mine new potential business utilizing market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Manage prospects throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiation and closing.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Greenmark.
- Utilize CRM to schedule and document all activities and develop robust information profiles on prospective customers.
- Develop proposals and conduct presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of Greenmark.
- Complete cold call prospecting activities to establish initial and follow-up appointments with customer decision-makers.
- Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends in assigned territory to anticipate changing customer needs.
- Complete required Customer Service Agreements, CRM entries, reports, and other administrative work in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policy.
- Build relationships and increase Greenmark’s visibility through participation in company sponsored activities such as trade shows and chamber of commerce events.
- Proactively and continuously seek out areas to improve processes and gain efficiencies as the business grows.
- Be a brand ambassador for Greenmark, driving a culture of excellence and true partnership with team members and external stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout metroplex to meet with prospective and current customers.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required
- 2 years of sales experience
- Direct business-to-business sales, business-to-business cold calling, and door to door business-to-business prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments
- Industry experience in business services, industrial services, or environmental services is a plus
- Strong ability to build authentic relationships
- Strong skills setting up, utilizing, and optimizing modern sales technology
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Focus on helping customers and ability to discern actionable steps to help customers
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Learner mindset, with innate curiosity that drives figuring out solutions and learning new things
