The Greenplate Group, based on beautiful Hilton Head Island, SC, is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations and Business Development to work side-by-side with Brandon Greenplate in scaling a multi-faceted real estate business. From luxury & investment real estate sales to building a national/international sales organization, launching & selling new construction developments, acquiring & managing investment properties, and building/developing a top-performing local team of agents, this is your chance to lead operations for a fast-growing, high-impact firm.

In this role, you’ll be the operational backbone of the company—streamlining processes, systemizing workflows, and reclaiming 20-40% of the CEO’s time so the business can scale more efficiently. Your leadership will help drive growth across key revenue streams while ensuring an exceptional client experience at every touchpoint.

Duties:

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee, refine, create, and implement operational systems/processes/workflows across five diverse revenue streams, delegating tasks to ensure seamless daily operations and strategic initiatives and freeing up 20-40% of the CEO’s time for high-value activities.
  • Act as the CEO’s trusted advisor, anticipating needs, addressing challenges proactively, and providing solutions that align with long-term business goals.
  • Sales support, which involves assistance with client outreach & follow-ups, back-end listing setup, vendor communications, and overseeing/implementation of marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and implement operational policies while creating detailed roadmaps and manuals to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and promote long-term scalability and efficiency.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement within each revenue stream & drive implementation.
  • Create & track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to drive ongoing improvements.
  • Strategize and Execute: Take bold ideas and transform them into actionable plans that achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Outline and oversee the roles and responsibilities of team members and identify new positions that need to be hired as growth continues.
  • Create/improve and implement operational checklists and forms.
  • Ensure the CEO’s calendar is optimized for maximum client-facing opportunities while supporting the execution of ongoing sales initiatives.
  • Support the management of exclusive new construction development listings and launches by streamlining operations and coordinating key processes seamlessly.

National/International Sales Organization Growth

  • Organize, plan, oversee & implement virtual and in-person events, including webinars and masterminds, to showcase the benefits of partnering with the Greenplate Group.
  • Highlight/finetune the Greenplate Group’s partner value proposition, tools, mentorship, and resources to attract growth-minded agents and support their success.
  • Develop programs and systems that foster collaboration, engagement, and a strong sense of community among agents within your organization.
  • Build and maintain a robust database with follow-up systems to nurture leads, track progress, and ensure timely follow-ups using a CRM.
  • Oversee the development of materials like presentations, brochures, and videos that effectively communicate the organization’s value.
  • Oversee a seamless onboarding experience for new recruits, ensuring they feel supported and valued from day one.
  • Act as the communication hub for the organization, fostering collaboration and community across all agents.
  • Leverage digital platforms, social media, and networking events to expand outreach.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and recommend adjustments to strategies based on data.
  • Act as a bridge between potential recruits and the CEO, introducing introductions and facilitating meaningful conversations.

Local Team Development

  • Lead the development and management of a top-performing team of local agents, ensuring alignment with the Greenplate Group’s values and growth goals.
  • Act as the communication hub for the team, fostering collaboration and accountability across all agents and support staff.
  • Organize training sessions, coaching programs, and team meetings to ensure agents are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging agents to innovate and implement best practices in their client interactions.
  • Work closely with agents and support staff to ensure smooth operations for client transactions and marketing initiatives.
  • Identify areas of the business that need additional support and lead the hiring and onboarding efforts for new agents and support staff as needed.

Investment Properties

  • Implement property management checklists to ensure properties are serviced when needed, keeping properties in top shape and ready for guests.
  • Oversee Airbnb & VRBO guest communication to ensure 5-star stays.
  • Manage dynamic pricing strategy for each property, ensuring the best prices and settings are in place to maximize weekly rental numbers.
  • Assist in the acquisition, renovation, and management of the Greenplate Group’s growing portfolio of investment properties.
  • Oversee project management for property renovations, collaborating with local vendors and contractors to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met while maximizing ROI.
  • Conduct cash flow analyses and rental projections to support informed decision-making for future investments.
  • Manage dynamic pricing strategy for each property, ensuring the best prices and settings are in place to maximize weekly rental numbers.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in operations management, with a strong focus on process improvement and business development.
  • Proficiency in creating and optimizing systems for efficiency and scalability.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, showcasing strong leadership skills.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while new tasks pop up.
  • Some marketing experience is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • A South Carolina real estate license is preferred but not required. Must be open to getting a real estate license if deemed necessary.
