Summary
The Senior Production Process Analyst will analyze production and process flows to ensure accuracy of scheduling attributes in the ERP system and will build and maintain throughput and lead time data to support production planning and forecasting. The Senior Production Process Analyst will also perform impact analysis of incoming engineering changes, coordinate implementation with production and determine schedule impacts with installation and production planning.
This role will work across functions and departments to document processes and drive improvements to ensure efficient flow of information for production execution.
The ideal candidate will have experience in aerospace manufacturing and compliance, change management, process mapping and ERP system routings and attributes. Behaviorally they will be comfortable working across teams to gather data and establish clear and concise communication and information paths.
Organizationally, they will report to the Director, Operations Strategy and Planning and be a member of the Production Planning team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- ERP Planning Maintenance: Review and modify routings in ERP system to align with production processes, including operation sequences, lead times and resources.
- Data analysis: Collect and interpret data from production processes to identify trends and areas for improvement, establish baselines for forecasting, and contribute to capacity requirements planning. Use data from ERP systems to monitor production performance, track KPIs, and perform root cause analysis.
- Documentation and reporting: Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, process maps, and change logs, ensuring all changes are accurately captured and tracked.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain) to define, approve, and execute changes to production processes, ERP data, and manufacturing operations.
- Change Management: Support the introduction of new technologies and process automation while managing the transition to these new systems.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
Bachelor's degree and 5 plus years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Aerospace background and aircraft interior experience, as well as experience supporting high-mix, low volume, NPI or prototype manufacturing a plus.
Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong experience in managing production routings and ERP systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and materials specifications.
- Experience with manufacturing flows and production planning.
- Experience with data analysis tools (Minitab, Power BI, Excel) to measure the success of implemented changes.
- Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team.
- Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, industry regulations (AS9100), and quality management systems.
- Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills, including interpretation of leading indicators and trends.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Demonstrated experience with MRP, Inventory and order processing systems, preferably in MS Dynamics 365.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Ability to drive continuous improvement processes and standards.
- Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Ability to work outside of core business hours as required.
The expected WA salary range for this position is between $78,000.00 - $103,000.00 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law.
