We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to implement BRCGS GFSI certification program. As a key player in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products, you will lead efforts to maintain and improve quality standards, processes, and procedures. Responsibilities:
- Quality Management:
- Be proficient in writing and implementing GFSI Food Safety Programs, HACCP Plans, Preventive Controls, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FSVP
- Be proficient and have experience in writing and implementing GFSI certification programs such as SQF or BRCGS.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality benchmarks.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and best practices.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness of quality initiatives.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to quality procedures and processes.
- Prepare regular reports on quality performance, non-conformities, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of quality assurance professionals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and quality consciousness within the organization.
- Supplier and Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay current with industry regulations and standards.
- Ensure that the organization's quality management system complies with relevant regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Quality Management, Engineering, etc.).
- Proven experience in quality assurance in a managerial role is a must.
- Must have previous experience in writing and implementing GFSI certification programs.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
