Job Summary
Accomplishes project objectives by providing design and support, budgets and estimates. As a Design and Estimation Specialist in our Stormwater Products team, you'll support our sales team by designing and estimating underground stormwater storage systems and smart technologies. You'll play a crucial role in supporting Greenrise's innovative stormwater management solutions and turnkey approach to the marketplace.
Responsibilities
Design : Utilize AutoCAD software to create basic underground detention layouts to help the sales team articulate Greenrise’s value proposition. Create shop drawings for engineers, incorporating site-specific requirements like pipe and finished grade elevations not limited to underground detention systems, stormwater quality units, and automated outlet control structures.Estimating and Quoting : Prepare and send estimates and quotes for underground detention and automated stormwater control projects, including specified projects and value engineering (VE) opportunities. Review drawings and create accurate quotes based on project requirements. Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce for precise project performance tracking.Continuous Learning and Improvement : Enhance technical expertise in underground detention and automated stormwater control systems. Stay updated on Greenrise products, competitive offerings, and trends in stormwater management. Develop a deep understanding of stormwater management, detention / retention, treatment, and green infrastructure.Team Collaboration : Provide technical and marketing support to Greenrise team members as needed.Experience
Minimum one (1) year of experience with quoting and estimating for technical projects, preferably in civil site estimation, stormwater products, or technical field support.Familiarity with AutoCAD software.Ability to interpret civil site plans and translate them into effective designs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software, particularly Salesforce.Excellent communication skills to effectively present technical information to team members.Skills
