Job Summary

The Project Estimator/Inside Salesperson will be tasked to become the missing link between Project Estimating and Project Procurement/Management. Regarding estimating, the associate will be tasked to review projects for bid, and in turn formulate competitive quotes for Turnkey SWPPP services. The Inside Sales duties will challenge the individual to follow up with previously submitted quotes to help teach our potential clients the value we offer to them, sell our products, and sell our brand!

Duties & Functions

  • Estimating - Review and research Drawings/Plan sets, specifications, and ITB’s to create competitive proposals in our scope of work for our clients. Research different bid platforms to reach multiple General Contractors for individual projects.
  • Communication - Communicates with our clients to follow up on the status of proposed projects. This duty is absolutely vital to the success of our department. It not only opens a channel of communication, but it also helps to provide a quicker response time to gauge interest.
  • Education/Learning – Teaching individuals externally as well as internally about our scope of work. External individuals to help keep them informed so they are better prepared for potential issues of their project. Internal individuals to help them grow to be successful/productive members of our team. Remain a student of the game to find new ways to be innovative.
  • Project Sales - Be ready and willing to discuss project specifics, additional products/services that the customer could potentially require. Get the Project Manager involved and set up a site visit so they may discuss Specifics/Value Engineering options face-to-face.
