Job Summary:
Greens at Gastonia is seeking a dedicated and experienced Wound Care Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our compassionate healthcare team. The Wound Care Nurse will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing wounds while providing high-quality patient care in accordance with best practices and facility policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and monitor wounds, pressure ulcers, and other skin conditions.
- Develop and implement wound care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Educate staff, patients, and families on wound prevention and care.
- Administer appropriate treatments, dressings, and interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of wound care procedures and progress.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and infection control guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active RN or LPN license in NC or compact state.
- Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWON, CWOCN, or similar) preferred.
- Experience in wound care, long-term care, or acute care preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
