We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities:- Oversee all nursing services and ensure high-quality resident care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Monitor resident care plans and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
- Coordinate with physicians, healthcare providers, and families to enhance resident outcomes.
- Conduct audits and quality assurance initiatives to maintain high care standards.
- Manage nursing department budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Serve as a liaison between administration, staff, residents, and families.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and health regulations.
- Respond to and manage any concerns related to resident care.
- Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license in North Carolina or combacted.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- 3 years of nursing management experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including CMS guidelines and infection control protocols.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
