We are seeking a Business Office Manager to oversee the financial and administrative functions of our facility, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellence in service.
Job Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day operations of the business office, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, and payroll.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of Medicaid, Medicare, private pay, and insurance claims.
- Maintain resident financial records and assist residents and families with billing inquiries.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and expense tracking.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to financial operations in healthcare.
- Work closely with department heads to ensure efficient financial management.
- Supervise office staff and provide training and support as needed.
- Assist with human resources functions, including new hire paperwork and employee benefits administration.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in healthcare business office management, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance billing.
- Experience with financial software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
