Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Driver to provide safe and timely transportation for our residents to and from their appointments. As a member of our team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our residents feel cared for and supported in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and other destinations as required.
- Assist residents in and out of vehicles, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the company vehicle(s).
- Plan routes and adjust for traffic or weather conditions to ensure punctuality.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with residents, families, and staff.
- Follow all state and local driving laws, as well as company safety policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- 5 years of experience as a driver (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of [local area/region] and familiarity with GPS navigation.
- Ability to assist residents with mobility challenges, including the use of wheelchairs or walkers (training provided if necessary).
