Responsibilities - Vehicle Buyer:
- Contact customers in service lane regarding possible acquiring their vehicle
- Follow up all leads for potential sellers
- Prospect for sellers via all mediums (craigslist, classified ads, etc.)
- Work internet and phone leads that are submitted by customers wanting to sell their vehicles.
- Follow up internet leads from Kelly Blue Book of customers who have submitted appraisal requests for their vehicles
- Appraise and identify values on vehicles
- Upload digital photos to online database(s) as instructed
- Stocking in cars, vehicle keys, and entering stock data into the computer program
- Merchandise inventory on the lot
- Maintain lot in an orderly manner
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications/Requirements – Vehicle Buyer:
Inventory Management experience would be helpful- Motivated individual with a passion and drive for unlimited earning potential
- Make independent judgments regarding important business decisions involving the purchase of vehicle inventory.
- Understand the retail automotive market, auction sales and trends, pricing, high volume and high gross model, and reconditioning costs.
- Make detailed financial decisions within strict time frames and retain crucial information regarding the retail and wholesale vehicle market.
- Photography skills and ability to upload digital files to website
- Good computer and communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive personality
- Willing to be trained
- Good driving record with valid driver’s license
