What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Expeditor/ Expo position at Greensboro Country Club?
I. POSITION: Food Expeditor
II. DEPARTMENT: Family Grill
III. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for moving table orders from the kitchen to the appropriate, corresponding table in the dining area. Day and evening shifts available.
IV. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read and understand tickets printed to the kitchen.
- Coordinate timing with members meals and kitchen.
- Communicate between Front and Back of house.
- Understand dining area table layout.
- Keep runners area stocked with necessary items
- Keep runners area clean for operations.
- Carry trays of food from kitchen to dining area.
V. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to multi task.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Can work in a team oriented environment.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to carry large trays, heavy at times.
- Must be able to work in an environment which is loud at times.
- Must be able to distinguish all of the menu items for accuracy.
VI. MIINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
