III. JOB SUMMARY:
The Greensboro Country Club receptionist creates the first impression of the Club and Club staff to the Club members and their guests. Therefore, it is imperative and expected that the receptionist conduct his/her self in a professional, courteous and efficient manner. A pleasant tone of voice, a smile and patience should always be exhibited. To help create the positive first impression, the receptionist should always be dressed in business casual attire. A dressy casual style is acceptable. Hair should be clean and neat and kept away from the eyes. The receptionist should not chew gum, smoke, eat or drink beverages in the receptionist room. However, beverages may be stored in the coatroom. She should refrain from making or receiving personal calls while on duty so as to provide undivided attention to the Front Desk area. S/he should look up and greet any persons entering or exiting the Front lobby area. S/he should pass all member comments and complaints to the General Manager for appropriate action.
Schedules: Tuesday through Thursday 5:30pm-9:00pm, Friday 5:30pm-9:30pm, Saturday 2pm-9:30pm, Sunday 10:30am-6pm Irving Park location
Availability to Sub for daytime receptionist Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-5:30pm when needed. Availability to work on Saturday 10am-2pm on occasion.
We are currently looking for p/t receptionist who would be able to accommodate a rotating shift 1-3 days a week which would possibly include a weekend day shift with an opportunity to be a sub in for the receptionist desk
- REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Prior Experience in an office setting
Knowledge of multi-lined phone systems
Knowledge and Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Outgoing and personable personality
Ability to multi-task while still working calmly and effectively
Self-Motivator with the ability to work on their own
Ability to take direction form others
Team player
Desire to help achieve the "Best in Class" goal of Greensboro Country Club
- MIINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
At least a year of experience working in an office setting
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of a Multi-lined phone system
