What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events Administrative Assistant position at Greensboro County Club?
The Events Admin. Assistant is charged to work in conjunction with the Events Manager to see that the Private Event needs are met. Job duties including but are not limited to the following:
- Maintains communication with the Events Team, Culinary Team and Director of Sales and Clubhouse Manager about upcoming events and to go orders.
- Assist Event Team with communication in the setup of private events.
- Responsible for office duties including filing, answering phones and emails.
- Responsible for all invoices and billing of member accounts after private events.
- Compiling vendor invoices, maintain event request forms and letters.
- Coordinate with Events Manager to assist members with linen, dcor and entertainment selections.
- Assist Event Team with creating Banquet Event Orders.
- Update events when necessary and deliver all banquet events through email blast and interoffice delivery to all food and beverage service departments on a daily basis.
- Sending monthly thank you correspondence to members who host functions.
- Maintain request forms from members and send approval letter within 7 days of receipt.
- Assist with the setup of audio visual equipment for private events.
