Bar Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure a high-quality experience for our guests. This position is full time, with 5 hours per week of administrative duties and 35 hours working the bar and restaurant. This is a dual role position. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. This role requires a keen understanding of inventory control, staff management, and exceptional customer service. The Bar Manager will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining operational efficiency. Having a basic understanding of the golf business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Toast Point of Sale experience a bonus.
• Train, supervise, and mentor bar staff to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards.
• Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences and be able to change seasonally.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest experiences.
• Collaborate with other departments, to ensure consistency for day-to-day operations.
• Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for bar/server staff as needed.

Skills

• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and staff training.
• Proficient in inventory control practices to manage stock effectively.
• Experience in food service operations within a hospitality environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus, enhancing the beverage offerings at the bar.

Marketing and Promotions

• Plan and execute bar promotions, events, and themed nights to drive foot traffic.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to advertise specials and events.
• Monitor the effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies as needed

Pay: $53,877.00 - $70,000.00 per year
