What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Project Manager position at Greenscape, Inc.?
We are seeking an energetic, goal-oriented leader(s) to fulfill the role of Maintenance Project Manager at our Holly Springs, Durham, and Raleigh offices.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, outgoing, and a great communicator with strong time management skills and an eye for innovation and process improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively manages the business portfolio to increase revenue, leverage resources, and track expenses.
- Participates in monitoring measurements and maintaining company standards.
- Assists in value engineering contracts that do not meet gross margin goal
- Monitor performance indicators for self and team as per company standards. Timely entry and maintenance of metrics and measurements
- Manage production software (time entry, work ticket scheduling and completion, etc)
- Creates a positive work culture supporting the principles and values of Greenscape.
- Treats others with respect collaboration and support that improves moral, and employee’s success.
- Communicates with team in a proactive and professional manner
- Works professionally with all team members
Quality Control:
- Present quality expectations/Greenscape standards to employees (90% or above).
- Maintain clients' properties at or above Greenscape quality standards (90% or above).
- Uphold all related Best Practices
- Make recommendations to Branch and/or Production Manager on ways to improve quality standards for clients and employees
Client Relations:
- Communicate effectively with clients and communicate with Client Relations Manager any needs by the customer
- Assure legendary customer service at all times
- Resolve problems in a timely manner
Personnel Development:
- Ongoing Foreman and Crew Member training
- Provide technical and professional leadership to foremen and crews
- Provide daily, detailed expectations to foreman
- Work with Branch and/or Production Manager to conduct foremen's and crew member’s work performance reviews through performance planning annually
Administrative:
- Work with Branch and/or Production Manager to ensure that all material (flowers, plants, fertilizers, chemicals, etc.) and resources (personnel, equipment, tools, etc.) are available in sufficient quantities to assure efficient daily operations
- Determine reporting time for lead people/crew depending on loading needs, etc. and report to work 15 minutes before their foremen and crews
- Track labor and materials and processes proper paperwork (payroll timesheets, materials used, accident reports, etc.) in a timely manner
- Inform Branch and/or Production Manager of repair needs.
- Insure that foreman and crew adheres to Greenscape uniform/dress code
- Uphold all Greenscape policies and core values
- Support branch vision and perform accordingly
- Follows all processes related to payroll
- Documents employees for all policy violations and poor work performance
Requirements
- Current and valid driver's license
- 3 years’ experience in landscape maintenance including mowing, bed maintenance, planting, and pruning
- A minimum of 3 years as a manger in commercial landscape management
- Advanced knowledge of trees, landscape plants, annuals, perennials, and horticultural practices;
- Experience working in commercial landscape
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Drug screen, criminal background check and MVR required
