What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Production Supervisor position at Greenscape Land Design, Inc.?
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will assist with the training, scheduling, and direction of personnel and resources. Additionally, will assist with service delivery and quality control to maintain profitability at or above estimates.
ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS
· Full understanding of Greenscape Standards of Service (Greenway) and scopes of service.
· Partner with Production Manager, Account Managers and Clients to perform landscape quality audits to review landscape quality, task execution, identification of maintenance needs, and recommendation of enhancement opportunities.
· Work with the Production Manager, under the direction of Account Managers to schedule labor, equipment, and material to accomplish production schedules within established budgets.
· Maintain strict adherence to established schedules and budgets.
· Understand contract specifications and ensure they are met to maintain customer complete satisfaction.
· Hands-on-training and support of crew members including proper operation of equipment, and safety and quality standards.
· Provide production planning, oversight, and guidance to foremen and team members on client jobsites to drive customer satisfaction with timely and effective service.
· Identify opportunities to improve production methods and provide additional training to team members.
· Understand and contribute to profitability goals through proper planning of monthly operations including management of labor and material costs, and review of financial reports and results.
· Visit job sites on a regular basis observing organization of work, identifying and resolving training issues, and taking necessary actions to ensure quality.
· Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the field, vehicles, shop, field offices, and customer work sites.
· Demonstrate ongoing leadership of a safety-oriented culture, and hold all team members accountable for following safety procedures.
· Educate and train crew members on a variety of safety topics.
· Continuously mentor foremen to lead teams and develop crew member talent.
· Snow responsibilities.
SECONDARY ELEMENTS
· Perform other related duties as assigned or as required
REQUIREMENTS
· 2-4 years landscape experience.
· 2 years prior supervisor experience.
· Working knowledge of plant material and horticultural practices.
· Well organized and detail oriented.
· Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, highly motivated, self-driven, and detail oriented.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong leadership and time management skills.
· Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
· Experienced use of Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn industry programs quickly.
· Clean and professional appearance.
· Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese/English) a plus.
