We are seeking experienced construction professionals to join GreenSpark’s Commercial Solar PV installation team! They will be responsible for supporting the crew in all aspects of Commercial PV project installations. The correct candidate is comfortable working with a team, around heavy equipment, and outdoors in all weather conditions in order to install high-quality, photovoltaic (PV4) systems in accordance with codes and standards using drawings/schematics and instructions. All of our employees take pride in representing our company and culture in the best light to our customers, community and vendors.
Day to day activities will include:
Level 2 Commercial Installer:
- Should have previous solar or construction experience
- Should be able to lay PVC and do trench work
- Should be able to properly be able to terminate MC-4s
- Should be able to run EMT and PVC to equipment and pull the wire without damage
- Follow instructions given by crew leads and be prepared to work in adverse weather conditions
Level 3 Commercial Installers
- Should have a higher knowledge and comprehend and read blueprints, layout work, dress wires in equipment
- Will be able to build racks using kindorf/strut and be able to mount equipment on installed racks.
- Will be able to megger and perform VOC testing while taking proper documentation
- Will communicate and run small crews efficiently and have a higher responsibility than a level 2 commercial Installer
Education & Qualification Requirements:
Level 2 Commercial Installer
- Should have 1 year of solar work experience preferred
- Should have a minimum of OSHA 10 certificate and will be expected to get the PV 101 before moving up to level 3
Level 3 Commercial Installer
- Will have a minimum of 2 years of solar experience
- Will be required to get PV 101 if they don’t already have it and expectation of completing PV 202 at some point after that.
- PV 101 and PV 202 not required to join team but are expected to successfully obtain once employed

Pay Range $18-$30 per hour depending on experience- Weekly pay
