As a Commercial Site Superintendent, you'll be at the forefront of this transformation, overseeing our commercial solar projects with expertise and dedication. You'll be the driving force behind our projects, ensuring they unfold seamlessly from start to finish. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing every aspect of construction to managing subcontractors and maintaining top-notch safety standards. But that's not all - you'll also be a beacon of leadership, inspiring and motivating our team to deliver their best work every day.
The essential functions of the Commercial Site Superintendent include :
Support management with daily jobsite controlEnforce jobsite safetyManage and coordinating multiple subcontractors, including aligning order of operations and implementation of tasksCoordinating with Project Management, Design, local AHJ, and client teams regarding implementation of and completion of tasksProvide regular progress reports of construction statusesServe as supporting role in approval of design changes; implement, track and document as-built changes to project teamSupport management and maintenance of site complianceServe as supporting role in QC / QA of productServe as supporting role in management of Balance of Plant and commissioning of project completionThese are our education & qualification requirements :
High school graduate or equivalentCollege or university degree preferred but not required1-3 years of solar experience or accredited education within the solar fieldTechnical working knowledge of construction trades, including civil, electrical, structural and mechanicalOSHA 10-hour training certificate requiredOSHA 30-hour training certificate preferred but not requiredValid driver's licenseValues and encourages the diversity of ideas, opinions and peopleAbility to interact in a professional, friendly and positive mannerStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize needs and problem solveAbility to read and comprehend design plans of civil, mechanical and electrical construction trades, including electrical line diagramsProficiency in computer skills with email and calendar managementExperience in utilizing computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Suite, Adobe AcrobatFamiliar with operating material handling heavy equipment, specifically but not limited to, skid steer and telehandlerAbility to travel and work remotely from jobsite locationsAbility to maneuver around any and all construction sites, including rooftopsAbility to work in outdoor conditions across all four seasonsCommitment to safety - an unwavering sense of personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of your coworkers, and a willingness to speak up and take action when you recognize hazardous conditions or behaviorsHere's a peek at our perks & benefits!
Salary Range :
