Our client in Lucas County, OH is in need of a Neurology Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant for a locum assignment!

- Patient population: Adult: 100%
- Trauma: 40%
Inpatient: 100%
- Average Number of Hospital-Based Patients Per Locum Per Day: avg census in Neuro ICU is 10pts, Neurosurgery consults avg 5/night
- No other Neurologists be Present During Locum's Assignment
- 2 neuro intensivists in group and they will be available by phone at nights
- 3Advanced Practice Providers in Group
- Lab Onsite & Xray on site
- Typical level 1 trauma set up
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
- Trauma Level/Designation: level 1 trauma, comprehensive stroke
Job Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (PA or CNP licensed in Ohio) - REQUIRED
- Active OH license (willing to accept those who will obtain) - REQUIRED
- BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED
- ENLS - Highly preferred
- Must be comfortable covering a neuro ICU in a level 1 trauma center. Experience working with stroke patients. - REQUIRED (please note)
- APC that can cover a level 1 trauma center neuro ICU (16 beds) at night. This candidate will also cover neurosurgical consults at night - REQUIRED (please note)
