Work Details

• Support Staff:
• RNs, CNAs, imaging staff, and APPs available on site
• Hospitalist available 24/7 for admissions
• Coverage Needed: 1-2 weeks per month
• Patients per Day: 10-15
• Typically 9-13 procedures done in Endoscopy
• Consults are scheduled for either 45 minutes or 60 minutes
• Follow-ups are 30 minutes
• EMR System: Cerner
• Special Procedures:
• Must be able to perform ERCP and EUS
• Upper and lower conscious sedation mandatory
• Skills Required:
• Inpatient experience required
• ERCP/EUS skills for inpatient and outpatient preferred
• Proficiency in general GI is acceptable if candidate pool is limited
• Preference for proficiency in advanced cancer-related cases
