Internal Medicine Physician at Greenstaff Physician & Provider Solutions
An Internal Medicine Physician is needed for a locum assignment in Santa Cruz County, CA, for a duration of 6 months to a year. The role involves typical IM clinic duties with an average patient population age of 70, focusing on various comorbidities, and requires board certification in Internal Medicine or Geriatrics. Candidates must hold an active California license and be BLS certified, with additional benefits offered by the recruiting agency for W2 employees.
Job Details :
- ASAP- as soon as credentialed - 6 months to a year
- Shift times : Weekdays : 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, with a 1 hour lunch
- Frequency : Monday to Friday, every week - no call, would also consider someone who could do only a few days / week
- Internal Medicine - will consider a strong FP but that is not ideal. FTE : 1.0
- Duties : Typical IM clinic population average age 70. About half male / female with multiple comorbidities, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, CHF, etc.
- EMR : Cerner
- Patients per Day : Other providers seeing 12-18 a day depending upon complexity
- Support Staff : MA's, MOR's, APP (one in clinic) and RN assigned to clinic
- Reason for Coverage : Provider Retiring
