What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neurology Physician position at Greenstaff Physician and Provider Solutions?
Job details :
- Ongoing 10 shifts per month, weekend coverage mostly.
- Facility is preferably looking for a Neurosurgeon with endovascular capabilities.
- Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient.
- Heavy surgical emphasis.
- Will not accept a Neuro interventional radiologist.
- Provider must be Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
- 100% adult patients.
- 50% trauma cases.
- 100% inpatient care.
- 0-5 hospital based patients per day.
- Support Staff : Dedicated CNS for the practice M-F day shift. General Neurosurgery APPs are available at night for general questions from staff. New consults will be dealt by a call neuroendovascular surgeon.
- Surgery volume expected while on call varies. Must be comfortable with open endovascular procedures, but most procedures are done in the interventional / cath lab.
- EMR : Epic.
- 90 day credentialing timeframe.
- Will pay for full travel.
- See PD for required procedures.
