Requirements:
- Board Certified in Psychiatry (Will not accept BE)
- Experience in treating patients ages 6 and up is preferred
- Inpatient Psych (adult unit and adolescent unit), Hospital Consults, ER Consults NOT OPEN TO TELEHEALTH
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
- Provider will round in the morning, and every third day they will take a turn managing all hospital calls/consults, etc. (during shift hours)
- NO CALL on evenings or weekends - only during regular business hours
- The need is for 2-3 weeks per month
Work Environment:
- Total Number of Beds: 18 adults, 5 adolescents
- Documentation System/EMR: Cerner
- Trauma Level/Designation III
- Referral/Transfer Protocol: University of Iowa, 40 minutes by car
- Safety/Security Measures in Place: security on each campus

- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 5-12
- Number of Psychiatrists in Your Group: 1 part-time inpatient
- Number of Advanced Practice Providers Support Your Group: 2
- Number of Psychologists: Zero, inpatient
